Addyson - 18 months

We photographed Addyson in the studio and outside in the park this past weekend - she is the cutest thing! So much personality...this girl is an explorer and has no fear! We got quite a different look with every shot... I love this real smile below - it must have come from zooming down the slide :)

Too cute - she is looking at her mom in this one! Thank you for coming in - it was great to meet you! Hope to see you soon!

Catherine & Benjamin's Wedding!

Catherine & Benjamin were married approximately a year ago to the day, but finally got their official family and friend ceremony this past weekend at the Chimney Cove Properties in Wedowee, AL...! Most of the family and guests traveled very far for this young air force couple about to head out to England for Benjamin's next assignment for our country!

Their wedding was so fun - what a sweet atmosphere! We loved all of the red, black and white details they created! I'll let the images speak for themselves...

Father-of-the-bride (Army), sister of the bride (Navy) and Benjamin (Air Force)!

The bridesmaids...

and the rockstars/groomsmen!

The father-daughter dance - how it made me cry!

The infinity pool made a great place for a wedding portrait - this was as wet as anyone got (before we left, who knows what happened after!).

Congratulations, Catherine & Benjamin! Many blessings and safe travels to you! Stay in touch :)

Marlayna's Senior Photos - Part I (outdoor)

Marlayna's Senior photos (Part I, I might add!) took place last week - these are a few cute shots - she is such a beautiful young woman! No wonder we are related! (Ok, I'll try to be modest...)

Love the look with the cowgirl hat!

Marlayna & Molly

She has gorgeous blue eyes - and lashes!

We'll be shooting a studio session soon, so stay tuned!

A shot from Rachel's Bridal Session

A low-rez image from Rachel's session - the week of the wedding! We were waiting on the dress for awhile! But I had to post at least one shot, she looked beautiful. Her wedding is posted below...

The Wedding of Rachel & Josh

I'm sorry to start your blog with the 'wedding kiss' shot, Rachel, but it just happened, lol! As you can see, the is the first time I did not get a photo of the first married kiss ;) Who gave her the bouquet so fast?!? Regardless...Rachel & Josh had a beautiful, sweet wedding this past weekend. Everything about this couple and their families was sweet too! I had such a great time photographing their day and all of the little details. Check out the photos and I'll tell more of the story... as it seems to be my trend lately...they are not in order!
Parents and grandparents praying over the couple.

Groom socks, bride flip-flops!

Rachel getting ready...

Rachel and Josh saw each other prior to the ceremony - they did a First Look in the sanctuary - no one else there but me and the videographer :)

This shot is where he sees her first!

Josh and the guys in front of the church - not a busy road as you can tell...

Love this! Thanks to 'Shades' for letting us borrow them for the shot :)

The wedding party (formal).

The wedding party (informal). Note - Josh stole a 'public' kiss!

If only we had a pitchfork...I call this one 'American Gothic', lol!
Congratulations Rachel and Josh! I'm so happy for you two - stay in touch! You have so many things ahead that God has planned for you as a couple!

The Wedding of Alayna & Slade!

I met Slade and Alayna about an hour before the wedding - I never do this! But that's how divine appointments happen :) I had the honor of photographing their beautiful outdoor ceremony at Rocky Mount in Prattville. After meeting Slade and Alayna, I knew this was going to be easy, lol! They are both so laid-back, fun and carefree, it made everything go smoothly. They are so in love and that always makes great photos!

I loved her dress! The red embroidery and accents on her veil were gorgeous!

Congratulations, Slade and Alayna! I will post a small gallery of 'best of' and family shots online for your guests and out of town family as soon as possible - next week, to be honest. The password will be Slade's last name. Thanks for everything to you and your families and having me as part of your day!

Michelle & Joe's Wedding

Michelle

Michelle and Joe had a private wedding ceremony this past Friday night in Duluth, GA at the Magnolia Cottage which is part of the Payne-Corley House property. It was so beautiful and intimate and laid-back, as well as full of Southern charm. Michelle was a gorgeous bride - she still attends my old church back in Atlanta so I was so excited to hear from her this year that she had found her man! And what a hard time keeping it a secret! I'm so happy she met Joe, he seemed perfect for her in just the short time I met and photographed him. Check out the pix!....(sorry, they are out of order!)

A match made in Heaven!
