Kristen & Justin's reception

I met this wonderful newlywed couple Saturday night...Kristen and Justin got married in Jamaica last week and had a big family and friend get-together to celebrate! It was a really sweet time as we got to capture a lot of family photos. What do you do when the sun is down by the time you shoot some outdoor formals by the lake??? Well...we made it happen for some bridal portraits and the newlyweds by utilizing two flashes (and a high film speed!)... Congratulations you two! It was great to meet you!

Lyanette

I had a friend drive all the way from Hotlanta last week! Lyanette is getting in to modeling and needed some headshots... She turned quite a few heads when we got into the streets for some location photos... Thanx for coming so far, Lyanette, it was fun!

Heather & Joe's Wedding!

Saturday was a beautiful fall day for a wedding at Hillcrest Manor! And of course, because it was Heather & Joe's big day! Two wonderful families and lots of cool friends got together to witness this magnificent event! I am so happy for you two! I think Heather & Joe were smiling all day... I will let the photos tell the story...

Jessica

We did a little artsy, woodsy shoot with my little cousin recently... I can't believe she is only 12, she looks like a beautiful young woman! Well, she is... and she has the most gorgeous hair I've ever seen. These are just a few shots from the afternoon. We had beautiful late afternoon filtered sunlight for the shoot.

TALLADEGA NIGHTS!

OK, now you know why I've been a bit of a slacker...I had my first NASCAR experience at Talladega! I also camped in a tent for the first time (John bought one as part of my birthday present). What a crazy weekend! Here are a few 'tame' images from the race and a bit of the atmosphere. The one shot is John and 'Stevie Nicks' singing karaoke at one of the RV 'parties'...well at least Stevie's number one fan.

the rest of the family...

I've been a blogging slacker! But we got to photograph the boys (see the next blog down) and their parents with them the Friday before last - their dad was in town for over a week! It was a precious time as you could tell Jaxon and Wyatt really miss their dad when he is gone for work. I am so glad I got to be there for them to capture this moment - not to mention the beautiful golden lighting we had as the sun went down. And thank you to Grandma and Grandpa (I could be using the wrong terminology here) for allowing us to use your beautiful property as a backdrop! See you soon! Maybe movie gallery? ;)
