The Wedding of Rachel & Bryan!

Rachel and Bryan were married this past weekend in Pintlala, AL at Rachel's home church. They had a very sweet and simple wedding with fabulous details! The images, are as usual...out of order, but check it out!

Bryan's gift to his groomsmen were some snazzy watches...

The wedding party! Love the browns and blues with the pink shades of flowers!

A departure shot!

Details...

Congratulations, Rachel & Bryan! I hope the photos bring many wonderful memories! It was great being a part of your day.

Davis - 6 months

I hadn't seen Davis since he was 9 days old...and what a cutie! It never ceases to amaze me how much a child changes month to month the first year! He is such a mix of his parents, it's hard to tell who he favors the most. But he's definitely going to be an athlete - this kid is crawling already!!! Truly amazing and adorable all in one. Here's a few of my favorites...

Love those big blue eyes!

Thanks again Haley and Chad for coming to the studio for his session - you have got your hands full already chasing this little guy!

The Wedding of Jennifer & Tony!

Jennifer & Tony were married in a beautiful rainy day wedding in Trussville, Alabama (north of Birmingham) this past weekend! What a great couple! I am so excited for them and the future God has for them as husband and wife. Their wedding and reception were held at the Northpark Baptist Church. Above, Jennifer's dad sings during the ceremony.

After the ceremony and formal shots, we grabbed a few outdoor photos during a break in the rain.

The wedding party! The colors were black and silver with red flowers - gorgeous!

Tony & Jennifer did a sand ceremony symbolizing their unity - with a base layer of white sand signifying Jesus as the foundation of their marriage. Tony's dad officiated the wedding and poured this 3rd sand with them.

A few details...

The flower girls had so much fun dressing up for the day!

Congratulations Tony & Jennifer! I know you're having a wonderful honeymoon at the time of blogging, but stay in touch! The wedding and reception were great! Happy travels back to Indiana!

The Wedding of Shannon & Dustin

Shannon & Dustin were married a few days ago on Labor Day at the Auburn University Chapel! They had a 'reverse' destination wedding as they both live on the other side of the country. Shannon came home, back to her alma mater to have their family and close friends attending the intimate wedding. It was beautiful!
What a smashing couple! Shannon is gorgeous.

Real sunflare is cooler than fake, lol!

The departure shot from the reception held at Greystone Mansion on Magnolia Street in Auburn - my first time at the venue - it is a photo opportunity in every room.

This shot is for Shannon's mother's wall :)

What a great couple and wedding! I hope to stay in touch with you two, even though you are so far away! Thank you for the opportunity to be part of the experience! Your families are also wonderful and did such an awesome job helping out! Many blessings will truly come your way and in your marriage!

The Engagement of Lisa & Scott!

John and I spent an afternoon in Atlanta with Scott & Lisa for their engagement session - which they broke the record for the longest session I've done! 4 hours! The majority of the session took place on MARTA, Atlanta's public transit system - the story behind this is the fact Scott and Lisa met on the train! How awesome is that! Good things can come out of public transportation :)

We had so much fun, I think Lisa will agree that we have entertaining husbands (husband-to-be, that is!). It was also a very busy weekend in ATL with events such as the Alabama game and Dragon Con taking place downtown. The train was packed! Check out the images, I'll explain...

John asked me if I saw the couple walking on the left of Lisa and Scott during shooting - not until I was editing did I see what he was talking about!

Sweet - an initial shot...

The image above was made on the infamous Peachtree Station escalator - I'm not sure how many stories it entails.

5 Points.

I'm not sure why I like this image above so much, I think it's the mood of Lisa and Scott's faces amongst the busy passersbys.

You two are an awesome couple, I am so excited about your wedding! John and I thank you for being so much fun and blending like 'tourists', lol! Enjoy!

The Engagement of Shannon & Dustin!

Shannon and Dustin were married YESTERDAY but we just photographed their engagement session last week! They live in the great Northwest so it was my first time meeting Dustin. They are an awesome couple! They have such a cool story of how God brought them together after many years and distance apart. They first met while working at a summer camp in Chelsea, Alabama - Hargis Camp is a place of wonderful memories for them as they asked to be photographed there! It was a bit overcast after a rain, but we had a great session. The wedding blog is coming soon!

Sweet!

The neighbor's kids...

This is a recent session I decided to go ahead and blog because they are all so cute... The session was a gift to my neighbors to welcome their new baby, Parker.

This little guy just turned 2 months - his big sister, Sarah Grace, was not quite as excited about modeling, but we got a few shots at the end before they went back home. We have the best neighbors! And they have cute kids :)
