Shari & Carrington

Shari and Carrington are a wonderful couple that had a beautiful wedding which completely reflected their excellent style of elegance with lots of color - no wonder they got married at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens! Despite the rain which moved their wedding indoors, there were no dampened spirits. The sweetness between this couple is so awesome to see in their interactions!

The wedding was intricately planned by Wedding Soiree' (check out www.weddingsoiree.com) - Gail Johnson was there with a wonderful crew which kept every aspect of Shari and Carrington's day running smooth and carefree. Let me know what you think about these representative images...loved your dress, Shari!

Ashlyn

Ashlyn is a lovely gal in the midst and height of bat mitzvah preparations! We finally got together this past Friday to photograph Ashlyn for her 'poster' session. She HAD to have a horse in the photos, so her mom booked us some time at a horse farm in Alpharetta, GA! We had a stormy sky to begin the shoot, but the rain came, we hung out in the barn, and we waited on the perfect light to emerge from the clouds - followed by a rainbow! What a blessing! So a one hour shoot turned in to two, but Ashlyn didn't mind modeling - or spending more time with the horses! The images shown are some of my favorites - so many unique photos. See you soon, Ashlyn!

My Wedding!

April 12th, 2008 was our big day at Orange Beach, Alabama. It was beautiful - and perfect lighting with the cloudy beach skies, of which I know my photographers, Becca and Jonathan were thankful!

Check out www.rebeccacipollaphotography.com for more of Becca's work. As for brides out there, don't let a cloudy sky put a damper on your wedding day - it creates a beautiful atmosphere and mood to your portraits and colors just seem to 'POP'!

THANK YOU to everyone who traveled to our shin-dig on the beach, John and I have so many friends and family we wanted to share this time with, and God made it happen! Thank you also, to those who could not come, we know your thoughts and prayers were with us.

Here's a few shots from Becca, can't wait to see the rest! (My favorite is the last shot!) That goes to all you other professionals who were there! ahem...jetta!!!... also check out...www.jfkservices.com

Eli

Eli is getting ready for his Bar Mitzvah in May. I finally got to meet him this past weekend in North Georgia, on a chilly, cloudy Sunday. All turned out well, and no rain, so we were able to capture some great portraits of him. Eli was such a cool, young man to hang out with, he was just along for the ride! I loved his smile, it goes with his laid-back attitude...which, his mom hates to admit, also goes with his shirt he forgot to iron! Oh well, it doesn't show ;)

A misty spring morning...
