Ashley and Matt are a sweet couple we had the honor of meeting the day of their beautiful backyard wedding. It was so hot and humid this past Saturday, but it didn't slow down the intimate family affair. A few shots from their day...congratulations Ashley and Matt, many blessings!

back at the beach...and a full moon

Just a few miscellaneous shots playing around with John - we were at the beach for less than a day last week for a class John attended...but we stayed to see the full moon rise over the bay. The other shots were created by a long exposure and a flashlight!

Janna & Scott are married!

Congratulations Janna & Scott! What a beautiful wedding this past Saturday! And what a blessing - the rain passed heavily through Marietta, Georgia, around 5 PM...but it passed to let out the sun for a perfect 7 PM ceremony! Their wedding and reception were held at the historic Whitlock Inn. The bright colors of the wedding complimented the flowers and greenery of the venue.

 It was a sweet occasion, you have so many people who love you two! Check out a few shots from their day...

Sona & Nitesh

I had the honor of 'hanging out' with Sona and Nitesh recently (that's what I do on my engagement sessions, hang out with new friends!) in Atlanta's Piedmont Park. We started in the evening at the park which evolved to, 'Let's get a sunset bridge shot overlooking the skyline!!'... The clouds rather covered up any bright sunset colors, but we got some beautiful images of Sona and Nitesh with a moody skyline of downtown.

Sona and Nitesh are getting married in just a few weeks! I am so excited for them and looking forward to being a part of their traditional Indian wedding ceremony. I'm also looking forward to seeing Sona's cousin Melissa, whose wedding I photographed last summer. What a wonderful family!

Thanks again for your time and smiles, Sona and Nitesh! It wasn't so bad, now was it, Nitesh? You do this everyday... ;)

Janna's bridal session!

Janna & Scott are getting married in FOUR days!!!

Janna and I finally coordinated her bridal session after quite a few rescheduled dates due to COLD weather...but alas, it's been in the 90's in Atlanta by the time we got to shoot! Janna is such a cool bride - she battled all of the woodsy elements you can imagine in the heat of the south a few weeks ago - let alone in a wedding gown! Janna - you looked so beautiful, you can't tell by the images what it took to get them! Can't wait to see you Saturday. I am praying for a cool evening. And no bugs. Or spiders. Or steep rocky hills....
