Ashley and Chris - the official wedding!

Another rainy day wedding this year! Ashley and Chris (and their wedding party) were so much fun despite the weather. It was such a beautiful wedding. The first image sums up the day, I must say ;) You have to love Chris's black socks....lol!

The Old House at Meriwether in LaPine - south of Montgomery...an off the beaten path venue that is superb - Yvonne, you were great!

The wedding was held in the gazebo behind the house. Despite the rain, guests sat under a covered structure.

Thank you Ashley and Chris for the honor of photographing your wedding! You have so many things to look forward to and I hope you stay in touch! Many happy memories and many more to come!

Christy & Jeremy's Wedding

Christy and Jeremy had a beautiful wedding at Frazer Methodist Church - a big thank you to Charmaine and Christinya for helping cover the ceremony.  We were able to capture soooo many gorgeous shots of them - it seemed there was so much extra time with no wedding party to add to the shot list! So it was all about Christy and Jeremy!

I love Christy's details...peacock feathers, blue and teals and chocolate brown everywhere. Jeremy will probably paint the house red once they return from the honeymoon, lol! Everything, including attire, had a classic and vintage flair. Loved it!
"....is all you need!"

Note the diamond cross in the flowers :)

Every bride needs to dye her crinoline!

Matching couples...this was the coolest cake topper ever!

The live band was great! Check out Velvet Monkey for your next event! (Thanks for the info, Christy!)

Congratulations, Christy and Jeremy! What a blessing to find your soul mate and best friend...even in the workplace :) You never know what awesome plans God has in store for you! Thank you for having me as part of your day!

The online gallery will be posted by this weekend for those on the lookout.

Jessica & David's Wedding

Jessica and David got married this weekend at Church of the Living Waters in Prattville... It turned out to be a beautiful day despite passing thunderstorms. But more importantly, it was a beautiful wedding! The families were so sweet and helpful, everyone was doing something to contribute to Jessica's day. That's what family and friends are for!

The colors of Jessica's flowers were so vibrant with the gals dreamy blue dresses. Love the pink! Jessica wore one of the most gorgeous gowns I'd ever seen as well. And of course, David is one handsome guy. Let me know what you think...I'll let the images tell the story!

The dress, getting ready, sister and Grandma...

The beautiful bride - Jessica has a personality that makes ANYone smile! I love to be around her!

His and hers cakes...he had Reeces! AHHHH!

It doesn't look staged, does it? lol

Congratulations to you two! I'm so happy for you and your new life together! BFF! :)

Christy's bridal! Finally!

Here are a few images from Christy's recent downtown Montgomery bridal session!
Hope to post something from the wedding asap, but this will get you started.

My take on the photos are very vintage-inspired which coordinates with
Christy's classic style... I don't recommend photographing bridal sessions at HIGH NOON,
but we survived and got some beautiful shots, even in the bright sun.
Too cute!

Josh's Bar Mitzvah

Josh is not only one of the coolest guys around, but so is his family! A wonderful bar mitzvah service and party was held this past Saturday at Camp Barney Medintz in the north Georgia mountains, about an hour's drive north of Atlanta. It was such a beautiful experience to photograph a bar mitvah and witness this time in Josh's life.

By having the bar mitzvah at the camp, Josh's classmates also got to join in for swimming, canoeing and many other activities. Definitely an experience to remember!

Josh carrying the Torah through the guests...

The REAL band...!

Dad and little sister, Sam.

The mother and son dance.

This makes me hungry just looking at it...a wonderfully displayed and tasty lunch was catered in the dining hall after the ceremony and prior to the rest of the day's festivities!

Thank you, Josh and family for having me (and John!) as part of your day! God truly blessed the day with no rain and a great atmosphere - many more blessings are sure to come!

Candace & Keith's Garden Wedding

How can I describe Candace and Keith's wedding other than perfect! The lighting, the colors, the atmosphere, the families, the friends...everything came together wonderfully. Simple and sweet is another way to describe it...but I am so happy for this couple. They did a 'First Look' prior to the ceremony (check out the images from that!)...Candace waited in the garden area next to the barn (location: Petals from the Past in Clanton, AL) while Keith walked around the corner to see his 'HOT' bride ;)
I'll let the images speak for themselves, it was hard to decide what to post....

The First Look

The HOT bride - she looks like she's straight out of Vogue!

The HOT bridesmaids!

The HOT couple! Another magazine shot...

The HOT guys!

Congratulations, Keith and Candace! A huge thank you to you and your families!
