There is an amazing event coming up in Birmingham on Valentine's Day at the top of Red Mountain at Vulcan Park! I Do with a View is an event that hosts 14 weddings in one day! There will be 13 premiere wedding ceremonies and 1 prime-time sunset ceremony overlooking the city! The link is: http://www.b-metro.com/idowithaview and if you are considering getting married, this is an awesome way to do it! You can sign up at B-Metro's wedding link or enter for a chance to win the prime-time ceremony.
I'm so excited to be selected as the photographer for this event and look forward to meeting the couples getting married that day! I will post more news as we get closer...

Merry Christmas!
To all of my clients (who are my friends) and all of my friends (who HAVE to be my clients!) and all of my family, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
It's been a busy and welcoming year in business and life, moving into our new home, still transitioning from the city to the country, new beginnings, our 2nd anniversary, keeping up with ATL clients and meeting SO many awesome people through photography! I am so thankful for all of the friendships that have begun for me here in Alabama - I owe it all to my husband and especially Jesus - He's opened doors for me to places I would never have gone. You never know what will happen if you walk through!
I just want to let you all know that you are appreciated and part of my life - and I look forward to continuing to be a part of yours and capturing those moments that pass so quickly!
HAPPY 2010!!!

The Engagement of Brittney & Clay!

Rachel & Bryan!
Married. This is their delayed engagement session!Rachel & Bryan wanted to take advantage of their session, but due to time, we made it happen almost 3 months after the wedding...Rachel wanted some studio and location shots, so after shooting indoors, we headed out into the cold! We went downtown Wetumpka for these...

Kim & Shaun's Maternity
Kim is due in January with their 2nd baby (it's a surprise!). Her husband and 3-year old Luke already make such an amazing family, it's only going to get bigger and better!

The B Family!
I'm a little behind on blogging, but here's one of the coolest families of 7 I've ever met!The kids feet are in the above shot - I think the personalities are there, even without the faces, lol!
The B family is such a fun, close-knit family with ages ranging from 2 to 17 - we were just playing around on the above shot!

The Wedding of Katelyn & Justin!
Katelyn is now off the market! She is such a classic beauty, I've been wanting to post a few bridals for a long time! (coming soon!) She and Justin got married this past weekend! I'm so happy for them!
The ceremony and reception were held at the Civic Center in downtown Wetumpka - we did most of the formals and the first look in the park behind the Center. The above shot was right after their First Look!
OK, ok...so they started out in one of those romantic slow first dances... and the above shot is one of many where the music changed and they were showin' everyone up! It was awesome! and hilarious! They even had a little Thriller in there...and Ice Ice Baby...

Cake by Justin's mom. Flower girl. Guys in party hats - thanks to K&S DJ Services! It was a beautiful [exciting] wedding that was Christ and family-centered! Thank you for having me as part of your day! You two are an awesome couple!!!
