Stephanie & Theron's engagement!

Well, I always say this, but I mean it! Here's the cutest couple ever! Stephanie is a former native of Montgomery, but met her sweetheart, Theron, in Macon, Georgia at a bike club! Soooo I had to photograph them using their bikes in some of the shots! They were happy to bring them out this past Saturday. We had some perfect weather at Shakespeare Festival park. I thought Theron was going to take off on his bike, never to return for another photo, lol!

Stephanie and Theron are on their way to get married in less than 2 months! I'm looking forward to their wedding, I know it will be a wonderful event!

Maya's Belly Dance Hafla!

I had the opportunity  to photograph a hafla this past Sunday night...that's right - a PAR-TAY! But not just another party - a belly dancing party! Maya Salm of Maya's Belly Dancing and her students put on a wonderful show that entertained everyone at Noble's Restaurant in downtown Montgomery.

BRIDAL SHOW this Sunday!!!!

I'll be at the All About Weddings Bridal Show this Sunday! It's held at the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa from 10 AM to 4 PM. Stop by and say hello... There will be lots to look at and many photography incentives only available at this show!

little Davis on the way...

Chad & Haley took a moment out of their busy schedule for an uncertain maternity session...it's one of those shoots during a time most women would rather not have a photo taken of them - but it's such a precious time in some women's life, it's something to consider! I'm so glad Haley reassured Chad to be a part of it too!

Thanks for driving so far to the studio, Haley and Chad - here's a small outtake, we captured some beautiful images! I'm looking forward to photographing the first few days of Davis's life in the real world!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! and other random thoughts...

Happy New Year! I'm so excited to see what 2009 will bring! So much has been going on the end of '08. I believe it's going to be a great year despite the economy - and I'm not speaking financially... but in terms of success. Success has different meanings to different people... and in my definition, it is a direct comparison of where you started to where you are now!

I'm excited to get things updated on my website asap - I have new wedding packages for '09 to fit ALL budgets! So many great options in albums, etc etc.... can you tell I'm excited?

ALSO - I will have a booth at the upcoming Bridal Gala hosted by All About Weddings (bridal shop) at the Renaissance Hotel in Montgomery on January 18th... stop by and hang out! I'll also have some great incentives regarding wedding photography for coming to the bridal show!

AND last but not least - CONGRATULATIONS to all of you new brides out there - it's 'engagement season'! However, I love hearing all of the 'how I got engaged' stories.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Just a note to say Merry Christmas to everyone! I pray this is a special time for all of my clients (who are my friends!), friends and family to come together to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus! May you all grow closer to one another, even those far away, and also to God during this wonderful time of year. And you can't ask for warmer weather in the south today...is it Christmas without snow? lol!

Tom & Ashley

This is the cutest couple ever and they've been married 10 YEARS!!! You'd never know it, they were so lovey dovey (I hope we're all like that in 20 years of marriage!). Tom and Ashley were photographed at Shakespeare Park in Montgomery... a cloudy morning, but the textured sky added to the mood and !POP! of the red shirts they wore. And of course, Ashley is a regular 'sponsor' of Starbucks so I had to add their lattes in there!

Rebecca!

I'm a little behind on the blogging... but thought I'd catch up a bit with a few cool shots from Rebecca's location senior portrait session! What a cool senior to hang out with for the afternoon! She is a very involved and active woman at her school - it's funny how she reminded me of myself when I was in high school. And she was up for about anything which made the session even more fun! We didn't stray too far from downtown Wetumpka, but check out a few shots we captured before it got too chilly outside!
