I hadn't seen Davis since he was 9 days old...and what a cutie! It never ceases to amaze me how much a child changes month to month the first year! He is such a mix of his parents, it's hard to tell who he favors the most. But he's definitely going to be an athlete - this kid is crawling already!!! Truly amazing and adorable all in one. Here's a few of my favorites...
Thanks again Haley and Chad for coming to the studio for his session - you have got your hands full already chasing this little guy!

Jennifer & Tony were married in a beautiful rainy day wedding in Trussville, Alabama (north of Birmingham) this past weekend! What a great couple! I am so excited for them and the future God has for them as husband and wife. Their wedding and reception were held at the Northpark Baptist Church. Above, Jennifer's dad sings during the ceremony.

Tony & Jennifer did a sand ceremony symbolizing their unity - with a base layer of white sand signifying Jesus as the foundation of their marriage. Tony's dad officiated the wedding and poured this 3rd sand with them.

Shannon & Dustin were married a few days ago on Labor Day at the Auburn University Chapel! They had a 'reverse' destination wedding as they both live on the other side of the country. Shannon came home, back to her alma mater to have their family and close friends attending the intimate wedding. It was beautiful!
The departure shot from the reception held at Greystone Mansion on Magnolia Street in Auburn - my first time at the venue - it is a photo opportunity in every room.

John and I spent an afternoon in Atlanta with Scott & Lisa for their engagement session - which they broke the record for the longest session I've done! 4 hours! The majority of the session took place on MARTA, Atlanta's public transit system - the story behind this is the fact Scott and Lisa met on the train! How awesome is that! Good things can come out of public transportation :)
John asked me if I saw the couple walking on the left of Lisa and Scott during shooting - not until I was editing did I see what he was talking about!Posted by shae at 1:21 PM 0 comments

Shannon and Dustin were married YESTERDAY but we just photographed their engagement session last week! They live in the great Northwest so it was my first time meeting Dustin. They are an awesome couple! They have such a cool story of how God brought them together after many years and distance apart. They first met while working at a summer camp in Chelsea, Alabama - Hargis Camp is a place of wonderful memories for them as they asked to be photographed there! It was a bit overcast after a rain, but we had a great session. The wedding blog is coming soon!

This is a recent session I decided to go ahead and blog because they are all so cute... The session was a gift to my neighbors to welcome their new baby, Parker.
This little guy just turned 2 months - his big sister, Sarah Grace, was not quite as excited about modeling, but we got a few shots at the end before they went back home. We have the best neighbors! And they have cute kids :)
