Sheri and Adam! Married!

They did it!! The long awaited wedding ceremony of Sheri and Adam occurred on the First Day of Spring in the beautiful north Georgia mountains. They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony surrounded by water, mountains and of course, family and friends. Thank you, Sheri and Adam, for having me as part of your day - stay in touch!!

Joshlyn and David's Engagement!

I ventured to Auburn last week to photograph Joshlyn and David's engagement session, both graduating from Auburn University soon! They are sweethearts from way back and it's amazing to see the chemistry they have together - they are truly best friends! (The key to every marriage!) We had a lot of fun just walking around the downtown area, around Samford Hall, the park...check out a few highlights below!

Theron & Stephanie's Wedding!

I'm finally getting a sample up from the newlywed's gorgeous wedding this past weekend! It rained almost all day, but it didn't dampen spirits - it was actually a blessing! Most of the photos were taken indoors, but I do have to thank Joe (Steph's dad) and Heath (a groomsman) for holding the umbrella for me and my camera to make a few shots possible!

Theron and Stephanie were surrounded by many friends and family for a beautiful afternoon wedding in downtown Montgomery. The reception was at the RSA Activity Center - a really great venue with huge walls of windows. Thank you again, Stephanie and Theron, for having me as part of your day! I will not let you forget that you made me cry twice during the ceremony!

Davis at 9 days

I photographed little Davis last week - only 9 days old... he is the apple of his parents' eyes, Chad and Haley. He definitely did NOT like being without clothes, but we were able to capture some content looking photographs. Here is a small sample - there is something about black and white and natural light (which is rare for me!)... The first (above) image of the nursery rhyme on Davis's wall was Chad's idea - love it!

We had the honor of photographing Candace and Keith's engagement session in downtown Clanton... there are so many vintage yet colorful spaces and walls there...loved it! Which made it difficult to narrow down just a few of their images, Candace and Keith just pop out of the backgrounds! They are one of those couples that just *click*! Thank you, Stacey, for the honor of photographing your 3 month old bundle of joy, Eli! He is so sweet and precious! And I like happy babies :) You made the session possible - thanks for doing such a great job at 'assisting' too!  Let me know what you think of these portraits - I love the color palette and the mixed patterns too! Christy & Jeremy's engagement!

I love this shot above...Christy's hair blowing in the wind...and the smile to each other of how much they love modeling! Just kidding...how much they LOVE each other!

Christy and Jeremy are such a fun, sweet and interesting couple - with cool socks to match and a willingness to dash through Wetumpka's Saturday midday traffic on the bridge for a shot! It was fun getting to know them and enjoy the weather. I'm sure it is a perfect forecast to their wedding day in just a few months!
