I forgot to blog... Eli's 6 month session!

Not sure how this got lost in the travels because it's SO stinkin' cute, but here is Eli at 6 months - with his big brother and sister and a new baby shtizu puppy! I considered taking them all home with me...

This was Mom's idea - and how cute it turned out! Eli loved it!

Camden - 3 months!

I think this smile above is a sign of good things to come! What a cute 3-month old boy, Camden is - it's so amazing the personality they have that young! Notice in these photos at how he watches the camera - almost every shot was looking at the lens.

Camden's mom brought this cool piece of B/W fabric - it worked out great for the session!

Thank you, Camden and your mom for coming in to see me! I hope to do it again in 3 months! Many blessings :) shae

Sipola & Raymond's Maternity Session

I photographed Sipola and Raymond's wedding FIVE years ago in Atlanta (wow, it's gone so fast!!!) and they are now expecting their first miracle baby! What a blessing! I'm so excited for them! They are such a sweet couple - their little boy is due next month just before their anniversary.

Sipola is so beautiful, this is just a small sample of what we captured...

I received this African fabric from another Tanzanian bride a few years ago as a wedding favor - Sipola informed me the words on it referred to celebrating this event and blessing - how appropriate!

Raymond's Smile #5 - they are going to be awesome parents! I can't wait to meet him! Congratulations to you both!

The Wedding of Megan & Sam

We photographed Megan & Sam's beautifully orchestrated wedding this past Saturday in Guntersville, Alabama. They both reside in ATL and brought a little 'A"-town with them for the weekend! What a gorgeous bride Megan was! The ceremony was held downtown at the the United Methodist Church and the reception was across the street at The Glover Restaurant, co-owned by Sam's parents... The green theme was evident throughout, right down to the get-away car!

Love this pic!

It's all about the details, even the coozies! Megan's sister is modeling :)

Toenails to match!

Sam is so sweet on Megan - I didn't post the shot of his face looking at her walk down the aisle because it made me cry (and it's for Megan to see first!)... Congratulations to you both and your families for making this special day happen! Many more wonderful memories to come!

The Engagement of Jennifer & Tony

What an awesome couple! I finally got to meet Jennifer and Tony the morning of their engagement session at Oak Mountain Park, south of Birmingham...not to mention, it was the morning of Jennifer's move to Indiana to be near Tony before the wedding! I'm so happy everything is falling in to place for them - it's obviously meant to be!

It was a HOT, muggy morning, we had a good hike near the waterfall where they got engaged this spring. The adventure was definitely worth the images captured - I'll let you check them out!

She is going to be such a beautiful bride! Looking forward to their September wedding!

I wasn't kidding! They were hitting the highway right after this session!

Near the waterfall (hard to tell with all of the foliage) where they got engaged!

Love this one!
Love his contentment :) and the view!

The Wedding of Lane & Judith

The fairy tale has begun! I am so happy for Lane and Judith! And even more excited because I am related to them - Lane is John's (my husband) cousin! We got to participate in their beautiful wedding this past Saturday in the heat and humidity of the Orlando, Florida weather. It didn't slow anything down! It was such a great atmosphere and so wonderful to get to finally meet Judith's family. Here are a few favorites from their 1920's inspired wedding...

Gorgeous!

Dashing, don't you agree?

The wedding party - including the hottest best man ever! Yep - it's my husband, I'm a little biased!

Her father was so happy! He is such a wiley character too, can you tell?
Obviously Orlando - no wedding here can go on without Mickey ears!
Congratulations, Lane & Judith! I can't wait to hear about the honeymoon and look forward to 'hanging out' again. Thank you for everything you've done for us!

Jill & Chris's Engagement Session(s)!

Jill and Chris had a two-part engagement session - the first began Saturday morning before the storm hit, the second was yesterday evening in the heat and humidity of the day... I would say we got plenty of cool shots of this laid-back, fun-to-be-around couple despite the weather!

Chris drove his '69 Mustang for Saturday's session...definitely got the moody clouds of the storm front (looks like the Ghostbusters sky, if you want to take it back a little, lol!)... What a sweet car!

Cute shoes! And a reason to wear them...

The 'Abbey Road' shot.

So fun to 'hang out' with you two! Thanks for getting dressed up twice for the engagement session! I'm looking forward to the wedding in two months - it will be here before you know it!
