Jordan's Senior Portraits!

I recently got to meet and photograph Jordan, a beautiful and fun gal from P'ville! She's going to be a senior this fall! How exciting! Here's just a few shots from her session (I am so far behind on blogging, but glad I got to post this!)!

Love her big brown eyes :)

Thanks so much, Jordan! I had fun! And thanks for being such a great sport - what I failed to mention is that I photographed her in a bed of flowers - in the median - lol!

Congratulations on your last year of high school! Make the most of it!

Tatelyn & Braxton!

I finally got to meet Tatelyn in person with her adorable little brother (a.k.a. Spiderman!) last week for a surprise photo shoot for their mom's birthday! I'm not sure if it resulted into much of a surprise, but we had fun and I know she'll love the photos regardless! They are so cute - and the weather was perfect. The above shot is one of my favorites.

Thanks so much for the opportunity, Tatelyn! I had so much fun 'hanging out'.

The Engagement of Lisa & Scott!

John and I spent an afternoon in Atlanta with Scott & Lisa for their engagement session - which they broke the record for the longest session I've done! 4 hours! The majority of the session took place on MARTA, Atlanta's public transit system - the story behind this is the fact Scott and Lisa met on the train! How awesome is that! Good things can come out of public transportation :)

We had so much fun, I think Lisa will agree that we have entertaining husbands (husband-to-be, that is!). It was also a very busy weekend in ATL with events such as the Alabama game and Dragon Con taking place downtown. The train was packed! Check out the images, I'll explain...

John asked me if I saw the couple walking on the left of Lisa and Scott during shooting - not until I was editing did I see what he was talking about!

Sweet - an initial shot...

The image above was made on the infamous Peachtree Station escalator - I'm not sure how many stories it entails.

5 Points.

I'm not sure why I like this image above so much, I think it's the mood of Lisa and Scott's faces amongst the busy passersbys.

You two are an awesome couple, I am so excited about your wedding! John and I thank you for being so much fun and blending like 'tourists', lol! Enjoy!

Jill & Chris's Engagement Session(s)!

Jill and Chris had a two-part engagement session - the first began Saturday morning before the storm hit, the second was yesterday evening in the heat and humidity of the day... I would say we got plenty of cool shots of this laid-back, fun-to-be-around couple despite the weather!

Chris drove his '69 Mustang for Saturday's session...definitely got the moody clouds of the storm front (looks like the Ghostbusters sky, if you want to take it back a little, lol!)... What a sweet car!

Cute shoes! And a reason to wear them...

The 'Abbey Road' shot.

So fun to 'hang out' with you two! Thanks for getting dressed up twice for the engagement session! I'm looking forward to the wedding in two months - it will be here before you know it!

Christy's bridal! Finally!

Here are a few images from Christy's recent downtown Montgomery bridal session!
Hope to post something from the wedding asap, but this will get you started.

My take on the photos are very vintage-inspired which coordinates with
Christy's classic style... I don't recommend photographing bridal sessions at HIGH NOON,
but we survived and got some beautiful shots, even in the bright sun.
Too cute!
