Storyboard - Sal's hats :)

Just wanted to share a cute little storyboard from this little guy :) Sal's mom had so many hats (that he wasn't too excited about wearing, lol!) but we got a few quick portraits...

Jennifer's Senior Portraits!

I recently met Jennifer (and her mom!) for her senior session - she is a recent Prattville graduate and off to Troy this fall, but wanted to get senior portraits to capture this time in her life! She is so sweet and photogenic - we photographed a variety downtown Wetumpka...

I love her big green eyes! (not that you can tell they're green here....)

Congratulations, Jennifer, on the transition from high school to many more of life's wonderful adventures! It was great meeting you :)

Crystal - Pinup Session!

Boudoir sessions or anything close to Pinup sessions don't come often enough for me - I LOVE these! And when I do, rarely do I get to blog them! But Crystal is so easy-going, I get to post a few shots from her Pinup session! She is a new friend of mine who inquired about photos as a gift for her husband. Her husband doesn't know about them yet - he is in the army with the possibility of shipping out soon (still unknown at this time), but Crystal wanted to do something special for him. So sweet! Here's a few shots from the variety we captured recently....

Not everyone can pull off the pencil skirt! She is wearing his hat...

It's not the army, but she loved my pinup sailor girl outfit - it looks like a vintage swimsuit, but it's so cute!

And I loved this look on her too - she is so versatile!

Thanks so much Crystal! I hope your hubby loves these and will probably not stop thinking of you with these photos as another reminder!

Kelli's Senior Portraits!

This gal has a smile to light up a room! Kelli is probably one of the most down to earth high school students I've ever met as well. She is a 2011 Prattville senior - we had a great time for her recent studio session! Just a sample is shown below...!

(see what I mean?)

And here she is in her element - she is traveling all over the US this summer to play fastpitch softball with her team!

I love this one - surrounded by her home-run balls!

Congrats, Kelli! You have so much to look forward to :)

I'll be in touch - have a wonderful summer!

The Wedding of Katie & Josh!

Katie and Josh are married! They had a beautiful Friday evening ceremony with tons of family and friends! So many people put time and talent into making their day perfect! These two are sweethearts - and not only to each other, but to everyone they meet! I'll let the images tell their story...

Katie's style, as evident from her gown, is simple, elegant, and timeless...just like her slippers :)

The coolest and most painful shoes ever...lol! What we do for beauty...

Josh and the guys

Katie and her bridesmaids - these were gorgeous handmade gowns!!!

Katie & Josh did their First Look in the sanctuary...Josh gave Katie his purity ring - sweet!

Too many ceremony shots to share, but there were several 'ring incidents'... Josh's guys handed him a candy ring before giving Katie the real ring... and Katie's best gal did not have Josh's ring! So the pastor kindly let them borrow his for the ceremony. Too funny! Memories like this are not forgotten!

The happy couple are off on their honeymoon!

Have a wonderful trip, many blessings to you both! Thank you for everything - it was so awesome to be there to capture this day for you!

The Engagement of Emily & Lee!

I photographed this sweet couple in the middle of nowhere - an abandoned house and old barn were on the property (no worries, we had permission, lol!) Emily saw it and knew, 'This is the place!' Check out a few of the many fun images from their Engagement Session!

Gotta love the tire swing! The last two shots were on a caboose at another property - don't ask me how to get there! Emily and Lee got to watch me react to an attack of fire ants as I was setting up - I'm not sure how I manage to do that at least once or twice a year while photographing on location, but I hope this was the only time for awhile! haha!

Congratulations, Emily and Lee! Looking forward to their October wedding :)

Taylor's Senior Session!

I just met Taylor last week for her senior portraits. She was looking for something a little different, I think we pulled it off! It is always interesting photographing people in the same locations - my goal is to make them look original! Check out a small sample of her images....she is such a talented and beautiful gal inside and out :)

A few more images can be seen on facebook. But shouldn't she be on a magazine cover?
Congratulations on your upcoming graduation next month, Taylor! Many blessings to you as you begin your University of Alabama experience!

Camden - 9 months!

This little guy is so adorable! He is full of smiles and will be walking soon!
I've only posted a few images, but the above shots tell the story of his hat - which he did NOT want to wear! He is pulling it off in most of them - or crawling away :)

His smile lights up a room!

Just a few more months and he's going to be hard to catch! It was great seeing you again!
