The Engagement of Emily & Lee!

I photographed this sweet couple in the middle of nowhere - an abandoned house and old barn were on the property (no worries, we had permission, lol!) Emily saw it and knew, 'This is the place!' Check out a few of the many fun images from their Engagement Session!

Gotta love the tire swing! The last two shots were on a caboose at another property - don't ask me how to get there! Emily and Lee got to watch me react to an attack of fire ants as I was setting up - I'm not sure how I manage to do that at least once or twice a year while photographing on location, but I hope this was the only time for awhile! haha!

Congratulations, Emily and Lee! Looking forward to their October wedding :)

Taylor's Senior Session!

I just met Taylor last week for her senior portraits. She was looking for something a little different, I think we pulled it off! It is always interesting photographing people in the same locations - my goal is to make them look original! Check out a small sample of her images....she is such a talented and beautiful gal inside and out :)

A few more images can be seen on facebook. But shouldn't she be on a magazine cover?
Congratulations on your upcoming graduation next month, Taylor! Many blessings to you as you begin your University of Alabama experience!

The Engagement of Jessica & Rob!

Jessica and Rob are getting married in just FIVE weeks! I'm so excited to be a part of Jessica's life, we've been brought together by mutual friends/family. And Rob is such a great addition as well! I'm looking forward to her bridal shower tomorrow!

But first, here are some photos from their recent engagement session...

Was it their love for shoes that brought them together?? I'm not sure, but I think it's a perk in their relationship! Too cute!
This one (above) is definitely the romance novel cover!
And I had to throw this one in, I just love her walking through a field in heels carrying a laundry basket full of shoes!

Congratulations, see you tomorrow, Jessica!

The Engagement of Elizabeth & Whiting!

Here is a great couple that was game for anything! And they only have a few months to the big day! Elizabeth and Whiting came into their engagement session not knowing what to expect - but you can't tell from the images we captured!
These photos were taken at Jasmine Hill Gardens in Wetumpka - if you can't tell, I like trees....
Looking forward to the big day! Congratulations, Elizabeth & Whiting!

Cooper - 4 years!

I met Cooper recently for his mini-session at Jasmine Hill Gardens! What a cute boy, he is so full of life! And good thing it was a 'mini' session - he was on to other things as soon as we got started! lol! This is just a sample of what was captured in a short amount of time before he was off feeding the fish!

Thanks so much to Cooper's mom for coming out to Jasmine Hill - it was great to meet you!

Corporate Photos - Maze & Danielle!

I truly see how even in the midst of hurrying to get to a shoot, my husband - and God! - will slow me down for something that is priority over my own schedule! We met Maze, a man with an incredible story of grace, and got the opportunity to photograph him and his wife for his company's promotional projects and website. Just thought I would share a few shots from this sweet, great-looking couple and their 10 minute session! And don't forget to S-L-O-W down sometimes and talk to strangers! You never know who you will meet and what experiences will come of it! (thx John! lol!)

Anna's Senior Portraits!

Anna is a 2010 SENIOR! Yep - graduating in less than 2 months!!! What an exciting time in one's life! I had the honor of 'hanging out' to photograph her location senior session. We photographed in Wetumpka as well as her home - her horse, Abigail, had to be in a few shots! Not to mention her cute little puppy and a baby goat! I love pets! Thank the Lord she did not have any snakes, however! lol!!

Thank you, Anna, for the opportunity to photograph you! Enjoy every minute of the remainder of your senior year and many blessing to you at Auburn University!!

More shots can be viewed on Facebook... ;)
