Storyboard - Sal's hats :)

Just wanted to share a cute little storyboard from this little guy :) Sal's mom had so many hats (that he wasn't too excited about wearing, lol!) but we got a few quick portraits...

The Wedding of Cassie & Chris!

So summer has carried me away from the computer a bit and off to a vacation up north to visit family and friends recently! So I'm behind on some blogging again, but you gotta live so you have something to blog about! lol! We spent almost a week at my parents and I had the opportunity to photograph my cousin Chris's wedding last weekend! Chris married his sweetheart, Cassie, in a beautiful church in Pleasant Plain, Iowa. (I am missing Iowa really bad as I post these photos!)
It was a gorgeous family affair - Cassie's daughter, Hayley, as well as Cassie's sister, were in the bridal party. Chris's brother was his best man. And now on to the images...Cassie did a wonderful job making this wedding come together - the pinks and golds were beautiful for this summer day!

I could tell Chris was nervous during the ceremony... but this shot on the right was his first smile during the service, talking to Cassie ;)

Love to you both! It was so great being a part of your day - and of course, having a new cousin-in-law! Congratulations and God bless your new family!

Special thanks to Gail Klodt for helping me cover this event! Whoohoo!

The Engagement of Artesha & Ron!

Artesha and Ron are such a sweet couple - and might I add, enduring. We photographed their engagement session at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens on one of the hottest mornings I had been out in for awhile! I think Ron was done after about 15 minutes of heat and 'posing', but these two are troopers. We were able to capture some beautiful and fun images!

She looks likes she should be in a magazine!

Can you tell they actually had fun despite 95+degrees?
Thank you, Artesha & Ron, for being such awesome sports! We captured many more memories than shown. I am looking forward to your wedding next month! It's going to be gorgeous!

SENIOR SITE IS UP!

Check it out - a new site dedicated to Seniors only! Love to hear some feedback...I have some more work to do, but I'm still excited :)

BIG NEWS! Update on 2010 Weddings...

I wanted to update everyone I am booked for the remainder of 2010 Saturday weddings - and not booking any November 2010 through possibly March 2011. Sessions will continue to be scheduled as dates are open. Why the wedding delay? I am 16 weeks pregnant!!! If you're not on facebook, you may not know this BIG NEWS, but I am so excited about this miracle in our lives!

It's definitely a blessing - and quite a life-changing experience already. It should be interesting keeping up with some of these latter weddings along with my growing belly. But it can be done!

If you need to schedule your non-Saturday wedding, senior or family portraits, etc. don't delay - it's already July and the holidays will be upon us before we know it! And I have a baby room to get ready, lol!

Thanks to all of my support, clients and friends, you're amazing and I am so thankful :)

Jordan's Senior Portraits!

I recently got to meet and photograph Jordan, a beautiful and fun gal from P'ville! She's going to be a senior this fall! How exciting! Here's just a few shots from her session (I am so far behind on blogging, but glad I got to post this!)!

Love her big brown eyes :)

Thanks so much, Jordan! I had fun! And thanks for being such a great sport - what I failed to mention is that I photographed her in a bed of flowers - in the median - lol!

Congratulations on your last year of high school! Make the most of it!
